ABOUT THIS CLASS
1. Handgun Basics
Description: This introductory class is designed for individuals who are interested in learning the basic types and styles of handguns, safe gun handling, and proper shooting techniques in a safe, no pressure environment. This is the first class in a 4-class series (however, each class can be taken individually), designed to build confidence with a concerted focus on safe gun handling prior to range time. It is a 2-hour class and includes NO LIVE FIRE.
During this class you will learn:
- The difference between semi-automatic handguns and revolvers.
- How to determine which firearm is right for you.
- The 4 Universal Safety Rules.
- The 7 Fundamentals of Shooting.
- 3 key dry fire muscle memory drills to promote safety when handling a firearm.

2. The Fundamentals Of Shooting
Prerequisite: Basic knowledge of handguns and how they operate as well as proficiency in safe firearm handling.
Description: This class is designed for individuals who have a basic understanding of handguns and are ready to deepen their understanding and skills in a stress-free atmosphere. This is the 2nd class in a 4-class series (however, each class can be taken individually), designed to increase confidence in safely and effectively shooting handguns. This is a 2-hour class and includes LIVE FIRE.
During this class, you will:
- Learn the basic cycle of operation for semi-automatics and revolvers which promotes safe gun handling.
- Practice the 7 Fundamentals of Shooting.
- Learn how to load and unload handguns.
- Learn common malfunctions and how to clear them.
- Learn and practice LIVE FIRE simulation drills.

Learn and practice 3 LIVE FIRE drills on the range.

3. Intermediate Handguns – Perfecting the Fundamentals and Advanced Live Fire
Prerequisite: Basic knowledge of handguns and how they operate as well as proficiency in safe firearm handling; must have some prior shooting experience.
Description: This class is a fully hands-on experience focused on perfecting the 7 Fundamentals of Shooting and completing advanced live fire drills in a safe, stress-free, environment. This is the 3rd class in a 4-class series (however, each class can be taken individually), designed to increase confidence in safely and effectively shooting handguns. This is a 2-hour class and includes LIVE FIRE.
During this class you will:
- Review and practice the 7 Fundamentals of Shooting.
- Review LIVE FIRE simulation drills.
- Review the 4 Universal Safety Rules.
- Review Range Safety etiquette.
- Learn and practice 3 advanced LIVE FIRE drills on the range.

4. Defensive Shooting Skills
Prerequisite: Basic knowledge of handguns and how they operate as well as proficiency in safe firearm handling; must have some prior shooting experience.
Description: This class is designed for individuals who are considering getting their License to Carry a Handgun or carry via Constitutional Carry and would like to learn more about the role and responsibility involved in carrying a concealed handgun. Additionally, it includes advanced live fire drills to build confidence in a safe and low-pressure atmosphere. This is the 4th class in a 4-class series (however, each class can be taken individually). This is a 2-hour class and includes LIVE FIRE.
In this class, you will:
- Learn about personal & situational awareness.
- Understand the importance of conflict avoidance.
- Learn your responsibility in the use of force.
- Learn mental preparedness exercises.
- Review the 4 Universal Safety Rules and 7 Shooting Fundamentals.
- Learn and practice 3 NEW advanced LIVE FIRE drills on the range.
