ABOUT THIS CLASS

This class is designed to provide a building block approach for students who want to improve upon their pistol skills using measurable standards. The class will culminate in a Standards test. Upon successful completion of the test, the student will be awarded a Certificate of Completion and will be eligible to progress to the next class in the series. In this class we will review content from Pistol I and introduce working from the holster.

CLASS INCLUDES

  • Review of content from Handgun I

  • Introduce drawing from an OWB, strong side holster

  • Introduce reloads from a belt mounted or pocket carried magazine pouch

  • Introduce one handed shooting (support side)

REQUIRED GEAR

  • Semi-Automatic pistol (.380, 9mm, 40 Cal or 45ACP)

  • 150 rds. of pistol ammunition*

  • 2 pistol magazines

  • Strong side, outside the waistband holster (Must hold pistol with good retention and cover trigger guard.  No “Serpa” holsters allowed.

  • Range appropriate clothing; long pants, closed toe shoes

  • Eye Protection

  • Ear Protection (Electronic recommended)

  • Brimmed cap

  • Notebook with pen/pencil
