When visiting a gun club, there may be questions you have regarding the range, gunsmith, or firearms available for purchase. We encourage you to ask any questions you may have to prepare yourself for a safe and fun experience at Republic Gun Club. We have answered a few of the most common questions below to help you get a better understanding of Republic Gun Club. A more informed shooter is a safer shooter, so if you do not see your question answered below, feel free to give us a call or speak to one of our many firearms experts on sight.

How old do I have to be to shoot?18+, under 18 need a parent.

What ammunition is allowed?The pistol ranges are rated up to .308 Win and the rifle range up to .50 BMG. Black powder, tracer/incendiary, armor piercing, and birdshot are NOT allowed. We also discourage reloaded ammunition in some instances. If you're unsure, please ask one of our friendly safety staff.

Do you have rental guns?We sure do! We have dozens of rental guns, and we encourage you to check out our "try before you buy" program.

I've never shot a gun before, am I still allowed on the range?"Absolutely! We've all been first-time shooters at one time, and we have great team members to walk you through all the safety aspects and fun you will experience in this fun and exciting sport.

Do I have to be a member to shoot?No, we encourage you to come out and train. However, if you enjoy your time, please consider becoming a member. Membership has its privileges!

Is shooting inside safe?Shooting inside poses some unique challenges to make it a safe environment. Republic Gun Club has met and exceeded those challenges being almost safer than shooting outdoors. Our shooting stalls are deeper than the industry standard offering more protection and privacy. The light breeze at your back is our ventilation system moving 100% FRESH air downrange, taking the contaminated air away from our guests and employees, resulting in NO smoke and NO gunpowder smell. Our vigilant but unobtrusive range safety officers will keep a keen eye on everyone's safety and are there to lend a hand when called on.

Do you teach classes at the range?You bet! Republic Gun Club has a full array of classes from basic handgun to fun and exciting advanced down range courses. Ask one of our team members for more information.

Do you sell and help with NFA items like suppressors and SBRs?At Republic Gun Club, we’re committed to making the NFA process as simple and stress-free as possible. Whether you're buying your first suppressor or applying to build an SBR, our knowledgeable staff will guide you through each step, including: Understanding NFA item classifications Filling out the correct ATF forms (Form 1 or Form 4) Assisting with photos and fingerprinting through our Cerberus Livescan partnership We take pride in offering one-on-one support to make sure your paperwork is accurate and your questions are answered. What are the steps in purchasing a NFA item like a suppressor?How Republic Gun Club Helps You Through the NFA Process At Republic Gun Club, we’re dedicated to making the NFA process as simple, quick, and stress-free as possible. Whether you're purchasing your first suppressor or applying to build a short-barreled rifle (SBR), our experienced staff will guide you through every step. 🔹 Step 1: Consultation Speak with a member of our knowledgeable team to determine which NFA item best fits your needs and intended use. We're here to answer your questions and ensure you make an informed choice. 🔹 Step 2: Purchase Your NFA Item Buy in-store with assistance from our sales team OR Purchase through our online store and have the item shipped to our location for processing. 🔹 Step 3: Fingerprints, Photos & Application Submission We’ll help you complete the ATF Form 1 or Form 4, depending on your situation. This includes: Digital fingerprints and passport-style photos Submission via Cerberus LiveScan, ensuring a fast, secure process Payment of the required ATF tax stamp at the time of certification ✅ Your application is submitted to the ATF before you leave the store. No delays or mailing required. ⏱️ Processing takes about 30 minutes for your first device and around 10 minutes for each additional item. 🔹 Step 4: Range Access While You Wait While your NFA item is pending ATF approval, you're welcome to use it at our on-site range! The registered owner must sign it out before use The item must be returned to staff before leaving the premises 🔹 Step 5: Bring in Your Approval Once your ATF approval arrives, print a hard copy of the approved Form 1 or Form 4 and bring it to the club. 🔹 Step 6: Final Transfer & Background Check We’ll make a copy of your approved form for our records Complete a Form 4473 for final transfer and background check Once complete, your item is officially yours to take home 🔹 Step 7: Enjoy Your NFA Item Congratulations! You're now the proud owner of a legally registered NFA item. 🔹 Step 8: Start Planning for the Next One We know how addicting this hobby can be — we offer layaway options on NFA items! (Note: Items under layaway cannot be used on the range until paid in full.)
